Nice collectors. For normal 4 into one that is, the 3" and larger is actually 13 Ga. The 2.5" is between 16 and 14. This is good imo, unless weight is an issue to you.

I "think" the rule of thumb is 25% bigger than header diameter at the collector start, then go to your 3" or so size.
